Chia seeds are great for energy and quinoa is a source of complete protein, meaning it contains adequate portions of all nine amino acids. This weight release (weight loss) breakfast recipe contains both and was mighty tasty! My daughter didn’t like it without a few drops of stevia, but Landon and I (and a neighbor girl) enjoyed it just the way I made it below. I also threw in some shredded coconut. The bananas made it sweet enough for me. This is such a versatile recipe and I’ll be playing with it in the future. I’m thinking of adding a scoop of Chocolate Nutrimeal and a scoop of peanut butter. YUM!! If you’re family has issues with the texture of quinoa, try sticking an immersion blender into your porridge to puree it to be more creamy. Add milk if you want it to be runnier.
