This last week in Idaho, we got:
1 bunch of kale, 1 bunch of lettuce, 2 celery, 5 tomatoes and 2 acorn squashes
7 bananas, 3 mangoes, 1 pineapple, 7 plums, 7 apricots, 9 apples and a honey-dew
I can’t wait for this week. I love all of these fruits. My kids will enjoy having something besides apples and strawberries to munch on too. I think I will try a fruit salad with honey and lime juice! I will also be making some protein shakes with the bananas and probably some random fruit smoothies throughout the week.
As for the veggies, I think I will try some Kale chips and some squash slices.
