5 Summer Scrubs You Can Eat!


I don’t know about you, but during the warm spring and summer months, I spend more time playing “at-home spa”.  Flip-flop season brings with it the need to care for those heels and do pedicures more often.  Body Scrubs are a GREAT way to put therapeutic essential oils to use and give yourself some very inexpensive pampering!  Here are 5 Summer Scrub Recipes that are so natural, you could eat them!

Brown Sugar Scrub: 1 Pint Canning Jar, 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup Jojoba or Fractionated Coconut Oil, 20 drops Wild Orange essential oil, 1/8 tsp vanilla

Citrus Sea Salt Scrub: 1 Pint Canning Car, 1 cup fine sea salt, 1/2 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil, 5 drops grapefruit, 5 drops lemongrass, 5 drops tangerine essential oil

Honey Oat Facial: ground oatmeal, 2 TBSP raw organic honey, 2 Tbsp fractionated coconut oil, 3 drops lavender

Exfoliating Lip Scrub: 2 Tbsp Organic sugar, 2 Tbsp fractionated coconut oil, 2 drops favorite essential oil

Sandal Foot Scrub: 1 cup organic sugar, 1/2 cup coconut oil, 10 drops peppermint, 3 drops lemon
